John Koblinksy

With a passion for cycling, skiing and all things outdoors, John brings balance to the more sedentary members of the Hinge team. He is also an ardent promoter of green business practices.

A notorious early adopter, John is an expert at using technology to develop innovative marketing solutions. John began his career at Edge Research, a boutique marketing research firm, where he managed the company’s online research services. At Edge, John created the custom research tools behind the highly successful marketing strategies of numerous Fortune 500 companies and international non-profit organizations. 

In 2006, John started JYK Marketing to help professional bloggers, smaller non-profits and technology start-ups improve their marketing practices.

John has an MBA from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University and a BS from the University of Mary Washington. When he’s not doing all those other things he loves, John roots enthusiastically for DC United. John lives in Arlington, VA with his wife.
