Sylvia Montgomery

Would Starbucks be so dominant today without Sylvia’s zealous devotion to their coffee products? Probably. But that takes nothing away from Sylvia, who leads our Outsourced Marketing practice and brings her caffeinated energy to every project she tackles.

Sylvia delivers tremendous experience and perspective to our team. Prior to joining Hinge, she was Director of Marketing at Bowman Consulting, at that time the Mid-Atlantic's fastest-growing engineering firm. Before that, she was Director of Marketing Communications at Rubbermaid Commercial Products, where she oversaw a $3M marketing budget and spearheaded a corporate rebranding initiative. Sylvia has also led marketing teams at several technology and consulting firms. And as an adjunct professor at both Trinity College and the George Washington University, Sylvia conceived and developed numerous visual communications courses tailored for graduate and undergraduate students.

Sylvia holds a BA from Trinity College, an MFA from George Washington University, and an MBA from University of Maryland, University College. Sylvia is bilingual (English/Spanish) and is active in numerous professional services organizations. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and dogs Phoebe, Oliver and Leila.
