Hinge Publishes New Book — Spiraling Up

Book focuses on high growth professional services firms

Spiraling Up Book CoverReston – September 23, 2010 – Hinge, a branding and marketing firm for professional services, has published Spiraling Up: How to Create a High Growth, High Value Professional Services Firm. The book is based on three years of original research and over 350 interviews with CEOs and top executives from professional services firms in accounting and finance, technology, management consulting, architecture, engineering, construction and government contracting.

The book is a collaborative effort for the partners at Hinge. Written by Lee W. Frederiksen, Ph.D., Managing Partner and partner Aaron E. Taylor, the book is based on over 350 executive interviews conducted by partner Candace Frederiksen. The book’s marketing initiative has been led by partner Sylvia Montgomery.

“Our research uncovered a group of firms that were growing 9 x faster than their peers and were 50% more profitable, even though they were spending less on marketing and sales,” said Frederiksen. “These firms employ counter-intuitive strategies — strategies that worked even in the depths of the recession.”

Spiraling Up will be available in paperback and electronic formats at many major retailers, including Barnes & Noble, Amazon and iTunes. Additional information, including media details, is available at www.spiralingupbook.com.
